Welcome to the Electrical Engineering Showcase 2026 (EES 2026), a platform that highlights the achievements, ideas, and aspirations of our students while strengthening connections between academia and industry.

This year's showcase combines the Integrated Design Project (IDP) and FKE Industrial Day, creating opportunities for knowledge sharing, professional engagement, and the exchange of innovative solutions. The event reflects the Faculty of Electrical Engineering's ongoing efforts to provide students with meaningful learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom.

The projects featured in EES 2026 represent months of dedication, collaboration, and problem-solving. Through the Integrated Design Project, students are challenged to apply engineering knowledge in developing solutions that address practical needs and emerging technological challenges. These experiences help cultivate technical competence, teamwork, leadership, and professional responsibility.

A notable aspect of the showcased projects is their alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), demonstrating how engineering innovation can contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive future. Covering areas such as energy, smart technologies, healthcare, infrastructure, and food systems, the projects reflect the diverse ways engineers can create positive impact in society.

With 140 projects presented across 22 thematic areas, EES 2026 showcases the creativity, commitment, and capabilities of our future engineers. It also serves as an important avenue for feedback, networking, and collaboration among students, academics, and industry professionals.

We hope that this showcase inspires new ideas, encourages meaningful partnerships, and celebrates the spirit of innovation that drives engineering progress. Most importantly, we congratulate all participating students for their hard work and determination in bringing their concepts to life.

Welcome to the Electrical Engineering Showcase 2026 (EES 2026), organised by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

EES 2026 brings together the Integrated Design Project (IDP) and FKE Industrial Day, offering a platform for students, academics, and industry representatives to share ideas, experiences, and innovations. The event reflects the faculty’s commitment to preparing graduates who can contribute effectively to the rapidly evolving engineering profession.

A highlight of the showcase is the Integrated Design Project, where students apply their knowledge and skills to develop practical solutions for real-world challenges. The projects featured this year demonstrate creativity, teamwork, critical thinking, and a strong understanding of engineering principles.

The showcased innovations cover a wide range of areas, including sustainable energy, smart technologies, advanced manufacturing, food systems, and healthcare applications. These projects illustrate how engineering can create positive impact and support future societal needs.
