Chair, 9th EECS2026
The Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FKE) is committed to becoming a world-class centre of excellence and a leader in teaching and learning in the field of electrical engineering. All undergraduate programmes offered at FKE are accredited and recognized by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). In addition, graduates from our Bachelor of Engineering programmes are eligible to register with BEM as Graduate Engineers.
The 9th Electrical Engineering Capstone Showcase 2026 (EECS2026) serves as a platform for our final-year undergraduate students to showcase their innovative projects and final products to the public. The Capstone Project is a compulsory course that all undergraduate students must complete as part of their degree requirements. Each student team is tasked to address a real-world problem, whether community- or industry-based, under an assigned theme, and is guided by dedicated academic supervisors.
With the involvement of industry panels, it is our hope that students will gain valuable feedback from external stakeholders and that this collaboration will spark new opportunities for partnership between the university and industry.
On behalf of FKE and all academic staff, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the sponsors, invited panels, exhibitors, lecturers, and students for their contributions towards making the 9th EECS2026 a success. To our students, I wish you every success in your academic and professional journey. May the Capstone Project you have undertaken serve as a deeply rewarding and enriching culmination of your undergraduate experience at FKE.
Finally, my heartfelt thanks to the organizing committee and secretariat members for their dedication, teamwork, and commitment in ensuring the success of this event.
Congratulations and best wishes to all!
