Welcome

Selamat sejahtera and warmest greetings. On behalf of all the dedicated committee members, I would like to welcome you to the 4th Electrical Engineering Capstone Showcase (EECS2020). This event is organized by the School of Electrical Engineering (SKE), Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Bahru. The EECS 2020 consists of four categories, namely Communication Engineering, Electronic and Computer Engineering, Control and Mechatronics Engineering and Power Engineering. There are 84 teams covering 17 different themes from all four categories that participating in this EECS 2020. All teams will demonstrate their final products in this showcase.

The main objective of this showcase is to expose the final year students to a platform, which they can gain experience and perspective from both the academic as well as the industry. It is hoped that, through the project and this showcase, they can improve their generic skills in managing projects, developing prototype and more importantly to present and sell their idea or product to the public. During this event, both the academic and industry panels will evaluate all the projects. Students should take this opportunity to seek different perspectives and insights from the industry panels. As an encouragement to their hard work, panels will choose one team from each category as the winner of best project.

Finally, yet importantly, I would like to express my greatest gratitude to School of Electrical Engineering, academic faculties, internal evaluators, industry panels, EECS 2020 committee members, participating students and all parties that have contributed towards the success of this event.
